Photos Beginning of September

Some may say certain pictures here of Fox Briar and Williwaw farms (outside of Easton) are overexposed but I don’t think so. If you’ve stood beneath a midday summer sun in the middle of a vegetable field then you know the photos are true. Sweat beads form just from standing there. Today I met Kathleen and Becca and while I’m no stranger to farms I’m always impressed by people who dedicate their lives to growing food the way it used to be done. Gardens and farms are tired but they’re still producing. Fall is in the air. Pumpkins are growing large. First of the winter squash being harvested. Apples. Peppers abundant. Rejoice.
